On a crisp, cool day with perfect conditions for pickleball, SPC faced off against the RWB Tennis Club in a friendly pickleball match. Kirsten, in charge of setting the ground rules, ensured everyone was ready to go, and the teams were eager to hit the courts.

The SPC team, well-versed in pickleball, took the opportunity to show RWB Tennis Club members how the game is played. What followed was an entertaining display filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of friendly competition. Both sides embraced the fun spirit of the match, with some good rallies.

RWB Tennis Club, despite being more familiar with tennis rackets than pickleball paddles, gave a solid effort, and both teams shared some memorable moments on the court. After several fun-filled games, the players gathered for tea and cakes, ending the day on a high note, with conversations flowing and new friendships forged.

With a return match on the horizon, the excitement is already building for what promises to be another day of friendly rivalry and shared joy.
